Nordion Energi is involved in several major innovation projects relating to biogas, hydrogen and carbon capture. Through close collaboration with other actors, we are leading the transition to 100% green energy.
Hydrogen
Increased use of hydrogen will be crucial in achieving the transition in the industrial and transport sectors. But Sweden lacks the necessary infrastructure at present. This is why we are now collaborating with a number of actors in the Nordic region – in what could become one of Sweden’s biggest-ever infrastructure investments.
Liquefied biogas
Right now, road transport and shipping account for a large proportion of society’s emissions. Liquefied biogas (LBG) has a low volume and is efficient to transport – and contributes to sustainable transportation.
Carbon capture
The capture, transport and storage of carbon dioxide is expected to be an important element of the climate transition. We are involved in several projects around the country to get the necessary infrastructure in place.
